Paige Lee Raw Pet Diets is a small, family operated business located in Alpharetta, Georgia.  Our business started several years ago when we began to seek alternative veterinary care for some of our own aging pets who suffered from a number of chronic health problems and who were not responding favorably to very expensive conventional veterinary treatment.  Our search led us to investigate alternative treatments including homeopathic remedies and species appropriate nutrition.  Following this direction we made the decision to place our pets on a natural raw diet of 100% meat products.  The results were startling.  We immediately saw an improvement in health, vitality and well being.  Dry dusty fur was replaced with rich shiny coats and chronic health and behavioral problems disappeared. The story of our success with this nutritional approach began to spread and soon other pet owners, who were dealing with similar health issues, began to request that we make our products available to them.  Thus, like many new businesses, ours was born from the necessity of providing a product that was not otherwise available in the existing market.      

 

Working with a veterinarian, we researched the available literature to learn more about this nutritional approach and how to create the best possible food for our pets. Our work led us to develop a number of dietary formulas that combine the appropriate ratios of muscle meat, fat, bone and moisture content similar to a natural whole prey diet.  We sought to produce a regimen that delivered a nutritional profile that closely approximated that which your pets would receive if they were thriving as non-domestic carnivores hunting their own prey.  And since no diet is effective unless your pet will eat it, we used our own pets as “volunteer taste testers” to help us create recipes that met the carnivore seal of approval. Many customers, who dreaded the prospect of weaning their pets off of their favorite kibble and commercial diets, were surprised at how enthusiastically their pets adapted to this new raw diet.

 

Today, Paige Lee Raw Pet Diets is proud to deliver what we believe is one of the highest quality raw diets available on the market today.  Our products are all natural and made from 100% meat with no preservatives, additives or artificial ingredients.  Unlike many other commercial raw diets, we do not add any vegetable or cereal ingredients.  These non-meat ingredients contain carbohydrates that are converted to sugars by the pet’s digestive system and can contribute to diabetes and behavioral problems.  Our raw diets are made from only the highest quality meat and poultry products.  Most of the meat products that we use are FDA inspected and are even suitable for human consumption.  Our formulation process utilizes computerized portion control to ensure consistent recipes and our manufacturing and storage processes are monitored to ensure cleanliness and safe food handling temperatures from start to finish.  We are confident that Paige Lee Raw Pet Diets produces one of the highest quality species appropriate raw diet products available on the market today.
